We ended up going to Hanna for groceries on Tuesday. A little incident from that day.  I mentioned doing laundry in the morning. I came back to the RV with clean clothes in basket.  I set the coin container on top of the truck box and asked Ron to please put them in the truck where they are kept.  After our Hanna trip, Ron had more coins for the container. Where is the coin container he asks?? Frick...!!! Um.. if you didn't put it away like I asked it is somewhere between here and Hanna! We rode our bikes for a stretch but no luck finding it.  When we left the campground on Thursday, we kept our eyes open and low and behold just before we turned onto the highway, there was the container of loonies/toonies lying on the edge of the road! $15.00 worth!! How lucky was that!

On to our next stop. About 40 minutes west and just south of small town Delia is the "Handhills Hideaway".  A pretty drive through rolling hills and basically in the middle of nowhere. It was a new to us campground! There are some Seasonal sites but not many people were at their unit. It was pretty quiet. The bunnies and us!

We are in a fairly private spot surrounded by a multitude of bush, chokecherries, etc. There is a mini golf and a small playground here. A decent little campground. 

We found free wood left in one of the camp kitchens. At least we hoped it was free for the taking?? Noone came by with angry words. We had a great smoke free campfire thanks to that find!

Thursday night a thunder and lightning storm rolled through. The power went out and our little heater doesn't restart on it's own. The overnight temp was about 6C so it was damn chilly when I awoke at 6 am!

Friday continued to be wet and cold so we decided to go for a drive to guess where . . . ⤵️

Yes, Drumheller is about 30 minutes away. We stopped at Walmart and the Coop Cardlock. Not too exciting.  But again it was a nice country drive.

The upcoming week looks better weather wise. Although having said that, this am is currently 3C! However, the sun is shining so that's a good sign!! The campground closes Sept 30 and we may just hang until then?? We had more wood luck when a fellow camper who Ron had chatted with said we should check his site for 'wood chips' after he left in the am. It turned out he left a full bag for us! Awesome! We are looking forward to a fire this evening!
