Temp 7C, raining
The forecast was not looking good but we decided to head out anyway. There was a light rain while we were setting up and then it started raining heavier. There were a few other (idiots?) campers braving the weather.
On Friday we drove back to Medicine Hat for the condo party. It was rainy on the way back to the campground and the temperature dropped to -2C. And yes, it turned into snow overnight.

On Friday we drove back to Medicine Hat for the condo party. It was rainy on the way back to the campground and the temperature dropped to -2C. And yes, it turned into snow overnight.
It snowed most of the day on Saturday. There were still people coming and even some tenters. We used the next door fire pit as we could sit back under the spruce tree for shelter.
We actually really enjoyed the fire. One just had to dress for it!
We went for walks and bike rides. There must have been some heavy winds on Saturday on top of the snowfall, as there was a boat sunk in the lake.
We did lots of reading and watched some TV, but we still enjoyed the outdoors. We were able to get out and about on our bikes and on foot. The snow didn't last but it remained cool. Our heater was plugged in pretty much full-time.
We thought about going to the Saskatchewan side of Cypress for a few days of camping, but we ended up just staying put.
We drove to Reesor Lake and Spruce Coulee areas and we came up with more firewood! We scouted out all the campgrounds in the area.
Everything was pretty wet when we packed up for home on Friday. We had an enjoyable 6 nights stay despite the weather!
