We arrived at the park about 4 p.m. There was a large school group there with their tents. We set up and rode about the park. 

The showers were closed but the water was still turned on. 

It was 12C in the morning when we woke up. The "Information officer" stopped by for a chat. While we were talking we saw bobcat kittens in the bushes behind our 5th wheel. So cute! Unfortunately, Ron was in the RV and missed them.

We hiked the trails . . .

and we read on the beach.  On Saturday, the temperature was 27C.

On Saturday evening, they had a "Birds of Prey" group from Coaldale doing a bird release from outside the brand new Interpretive Center at the top of the hill. What an interesting and very cool show to participate in!  We were lucky to be in the right place at the right time!  

We saw eight birds released.  Hawks, owls and a Merlin falcon. 

We left the park Sunday morning after a pancake breakfast.  The temp was 10C.
