Site #11 - p only (x4)
Temp 24C !!
The weather was so beautiful when we arrived and there were about a dozen or so other campers in the campground. Not only did we find wood on this campout, but there was an Axe and a hatchet left at the site. Note - The showers were still open and water was available from there.
We biked around the grounds. We then had a 'Thanksgiving dinner' of chicken, dressing, potatoes and gravy, turnip puff, asparagus and pumpkin pie. (With a repeat on Friday!)
On Friday, we went on the 2 hour bus tour. It was very interesting and well worth going on.
We had a fire and sat out until about 9:30 pm. The wind came up overnight and it was cloudy and cool on Saturday.
Sunday was nice and sunny once again. We biked the loop and had a fire in the evening. The campground was probably about half full (128 sites). The temperature got down to -8C on Sunday night. Brrr!! So thankful for our electric heater, though we do have the propane furnace.
Back home and the fifth wheel was put into storage for the winter. *sad face*
