Site #76 - $44, p/w/s, Internet, Temp 14C
We left Fort Steele in the rain and it rained all the way to Radium Hot Springs. We unhooked and went for a drive. I'm amazed at the continued growth here -- condos and more condos! It never stops! They must be suffering this year with the poor weather. However, all those golf courses and no golfers.
By the time we arrived back home, the rain had stopped and the sun even made an appearance. We we able to sit around the fire for a couple hours before supper. A nice break, but short lived. Oh well, the occasional movie night is okay, too.
It appears this trip will be ending shortly. We will probably head to Kananaskis country for tonight, but chances are there will be nothing available for the weekend. I checked out the internet and with this new reservation system in place it's tough for us who don't plan our trips ahead. The provincial campgrounds don't appear to accommodate the 'first come first serve' campers anymore!
So this is likely my last update for this trip. I won't have internet access at tonight's campground. My next email will be from home.
