Site #28 - $30, p/w, Internet, Temp 19C
(Note: Trains, but not a problem at night)
The weekend is over and it's time to move on. We really enjoyed our stay at Taber. We will miss all that bird activity from Warblers to Pelicans.
We went to town again yesterday looking for an anode for our hot water heater as we've had some problems. We didn't get the anode, but there was a local parade taking place, so Ron watched that while I sat in the truck getting my internet fix. (yes, a bad addiction of mine) This morning before we left Ron cut off a piece of our old anode and it seems to be working better now. (Last time it was replaced with one that was too long & it appeared to be blocking the water flow which in turn affected our hot water pressure.)
So, another 2 hrs and here we are at Lost Lemon Campground in Blairmore. Six days on the road and a whole 311 km. from Medicine Hat. We are making GREAT time! :)

The best about this site is the free internet on site (hahaha). Actually it is a decent little campground along the Crowsnest River. We just had 4 kayakers paddle by. Looking up stream of the winding river is a gorgeous view of snow capped mountains and huge spruce trees.

It all sounds perfect, BUT, right across the river is a huge old junk yard with tons of rusty old cars & machinery. We had quite the chuckle over that. Oh well, the sound of the gurgling river is awesome and if we turn our chairs slightly it IS perfect!
Blairmore is a very interesting little community with some cool old buildings in the downtown area which we will enjoy touring by bike.
