Vernon Bound & it's Thurs. already!?

We spent a couple of good days at Clearwater. Drove to the falls - Helmcken and Spahats Creek, did a bit of biking and enjoyed a couple of campfires. A first for this trip.




It started to rain last night however and we ended up sitting with an umbrella over our heads before moving inside. It is nice to wake up to two digit figures... Those 4C mornings were damn cold!

We are now on our way to Vernon. It saddens us to see the devastation left from the fires between Barriere & Kamloops... so many acres burnt off. It will take for ever to come back, if it ever does.

Jeff has tomorrow off and we are looking forward to spending a few days with him & Christal. It's been a year since we've seen them. Hopefully we'll be able to stay at the campground down the street from them & on the beach.

Right now we are fuelling up in Kamloops. It's so awesome when one finds free wifi!
