from muggy Ottawa!

So here we are in Ottawa.. A smooth flight arriving at 4:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m.) Vancouver time. Greg & Connor were waiting at the bottom of the escalator and as soon as Connor saw us coming, he started jumping up and down and tugging on Greg's arm.... He was VERY excited to see us. When we got to Greg's, Carter also came running and jumped in our arms for hugs... such a welcome!

Little Parker is a sweetheart... He is very much like Connor was as a baby, so another 'little Greg'. :-)



Our bodies are a bit confused with the time change but the biggest adjustment is the humidity issue! MAN it is SO HUMID here. I would never have survived those summer months when it was actually HOT ! This is bad enough.... Ron & I are in a continual sweat and can't seem to cool down even though it's only 22C outside. We had our bedroom windows wide open all night plus 2 fans blowing on us... crazy! (I could have used my shorts and tank tops after all!)

Ron was going to walk with Connor & dad to the school bus (1 1/2 blocks away) at 8:10 this morning, but we ended up sleeping in until 9 a.m. It was so quiet in our back bedroom with fans going, plus we are still obviously on Vancouver time! It is kind of nice to have the one on one time with Carter & the baby in the mornings and then Connor arrives home at noon. (Ron went to meet him that time.)

It's quiet time here now. All 3 boys are sleeping, -- well actually all FOUR boys counting Grandpa! I think he's rather played out!! Tonight we are off to play gym....
