Homestead-ed in Nk'Mip

Osoyoos, BC
Nk'Mip RV Park
Site # -  (x8) p/w/s

We are all set up and have spent out first night in Osoyoos.

The afternoon was decent, then wind wind wind. We forgot about that here. It is also the reason why we park our unit back a few rows from the lake. We learned that on our first stay! There are elm seeds blowing about like snow... and there are Fishflies. Or Mayflies, whatever your preference! We forgot about those also!

We didn't get the best of sites. It is rather like being stuck by the kitchen doors in a fancy restaurant.

The shop and maintenance area are directly behind us. However there is a decent lake view out our window. We can turn our back to the workshop.

The trees in the newer park loop have really grown and it looks great. Our "older" loop has just been freshly replanted and the cedar dividers will need a few years to provide more privacy.

Our neighbor is a permanent here. They have a great set up but they have a dog that likes to tell us that this is HIS yard. And the humans then "bark" back at the dog to shut up... Oh joy! 🥴
We do enjoy these entertaining neighbors!
We picked up milk at the grocery today and we did a quick town tour. Not a lot has changed here since our last visit in 2016. It's still a cool little community. It will be a busy weekend in the campgrounds I'm sure.

But now it is WINE TIME! Cheers!
