Another day in Osoyoos

We ended up spending five days in Osoyoos. Even though the weather was cooler & windy yesterday. We needed to make some wine & some fruit disappear before we crossed the border.

So the 'chatty' neighbor I mentioned in my last email was replaced with a great couple from Van. Island. He retired from road building in Yellowknife & she sells real estate in Ladysmith. We spent three evenings at our fire with them and we were sorry to see them leave. We really enjoyed their company. I suspect he (John) will be calling Richard to arrange some sturgeon fishing.

So, yes, today we cross the border and will head toward Spokane, camping in either the Coulee Dam or Spokane area depending on how far we decide to travel. We try to stay in State Parks when we can, so my internet connections will not be so easy to come by. We'll be in touch when we can.
