Site #108 - $30, p/w, Internet, Temp 4C
Today was one of our worst travel days. High winds and RV's are not a good mix! Anyway, we said our good-byes to Larry & Phyllis and left Meota around 10 a.m!! It was only 6C but we heard Edmonton had 15-20 cm of snow. (and Medicine Hat was 23C!! What's wrong with this picture!?)
Anyway, we are settled at Gordie Howe Campground in Saskatoon. (It was only 4C and raining, so obviously we didn't go south far enough!!) Oh well, one has to do laundry once in awhile, so it was a good day for that! Plus I enjoyed 'catching up' with the free internet available in the campground!!
Darryl came for supper and we had a good visit with him. Deanne is working evenings this week, but we plan to meet for lunch tomorrow. Also we hope to meet up with a few friends and relatives while we are here. That's not always easy with most of them still working during the day!!
P.S. I was hoping to watch the "Dancing with the Stars" finale tonight, but unfortunately it's not one of the 3 channels available to us!! :-( You'll have to update me again, Kim.
