Wed & Thurs - Regina, SK

It was a productive day yesterday. The church secretary at Montmarte let Ron copy from the old record book after he convinced her that these people were long dead and the marriage & baptism records from over 100 years ago should therefore not be a problem! Sweet talker that he is :-) So we got information both from there and from the Candiac graveyard and Ron was very happy.

Next stop was cousin Ben & Gerry's new condo in White City. They have a beautiful place. That whole White City / Emerald Park area is growing like crazy. I'm guessing Ben must we worth millions with all his land development going on there!! It was steak night at the golf course, so we enjoyed dinner and catching up.

Back at the condo Ron & Ben went over some family updates and this morning we were busy making copies of all that info.

This afternoon we visited with my sister-in-law, Angela Armstrong and family, Taylor & Dilan. It's was great to see them. We have been in touch by email, but it's been a long time since we've had a chance to visit in person. I am happy to see them doing so well. Ange can be proud as she has raised 2 wonderful children. Taylor will graduate from Grade 12 with a 92% average and will be off to University in fall taking the Sciences. Her interests are doctoring, dentistry or optometry. Dilan at 15 is more interested in sports than school :-)

We sat around the propane fire pit this evening, but the noise from the highway traffic kind of detracted from the atmosphere! I am looking forward to more 'real' camping tomorrow!! 

So, yes... we are moving on. We haven't quite figured out the where yet. We may go to Douglas Park, or maybe the Landing or possibly even Elkwater. Decisions. Decisions.
