Parker tour

Wednesday Afternoon: We are back at the RV. It was a shorter tour today as their wasn't as much to see & do in Parker. We did stop by the dam as Ron wanted to have a look. He was quite impressed that this dam supplies water all the way to Tuscon, AZ & to San Diego, CA. Over 1 billion gallons flows to both AZ and CA daily. AND, it is the deepest dam in the world.

In Parker you can cross the Colorado River and you are then in CA. We drove home up the CA side and checked out a few of the lake front campgrounds along the way. Lake Havasu is 45 miles long, and there are a lot of resorts along both sides of the lake.

Although there were a couple of great spots, we came to the conclusion that it was too much bother to pack up and move, so we'll remain at the State Park. We've paid for one more night... and then it will be decision time once again.  It's cloudy today, but still 28C

Thursday: We drove in to Lake Havasu again. Our brakes to the RV don't seem to be working, so we are having them checked. It is still uncertain as to whether we are staying another night. 

There are lots of ATV's out and about in the desert today. There are tracks all through the desert here. It is very popular in this area. I managed to find some internet today.
